You don't have to design to care about fonts. I'm not a painter nor artist but I read about new paintings and artists. I don't play Starcraft 2 much but I still watch a bunch of Youtube replays.

Indeed. It's funny because I would argue that Asian men represent a notable minority in U.S. tech companies but have very little representation in executive positions at tech companies.

I actually use it a few times a day to do simple things like calculations, conversion, weather forecast... then again I'm on a laptop with F4 as the Apple-set shortcut.

Speaking of the UK, Foxtons also does a great job providing two interfaces for searching properties (list vs. map view) as well as organizing photos by room with specified dimensions. I wish their design was pretty much applied to Craiglist

There are so many other demographics in tech that are also under-represented. African American men. Latinos. Heck, even though Asians are highly represented in engineering/comp-sci at top tech schools in the U.S. very few are in leadership

Indeed. Years ago, they took a bold choice to use one input box for both searching and url's and now it's one major reason why I use Chrome over Firefox and Safari.

Indeed. Big companies like Microsoft and Google tend to snatch a good portion of highly skilled engineers, while most designers (product and visual) tend to head towards New York City or San Francisco for better growth and money.
