   That's a real shift. The value of an open problem used to be that it was unsolved. Now an open problem needs to be unsolvable by something that can read the entire literature and try a hundred approaches in an hour.

   Totally agree. I’ve been building an AI visual tool recently and experimented with both approaches. The latency and c ost of generic "agentic" browser use are absolute dealbreakers for real-time consumer apps right now. Structured
