I like Caddy: https://caddyserver.com/ Nice community and enough features for my (basic) use cases. The only thing that I don’t quite like is the logging format.

May I ask which Bootcamp that was? I’m interested in learning more about marketing :)

Oh yes it is! Wouldn't it be easy to add an option to block this behaviour? Like a flag in about:config or something.

I loved VimFX and am in the same boat - It was really the best browsing experience. I remember being upset for months when they killed XUL. Wish Mozilla would finally start being their old self again and create a browser that is truly cus

That does sound like fun! Very cool activity. Sadly I never got into reversing. How did you learn that? Can you recommend some resources?

Whenever I read these kind of salaries I feel like I’m doing something fundamentally wrong. 30yo, European based with lousy 60k/year. With the rising real estate prices I probably won’t even be able to afford a house in my lifetime. (E

I don’t work as a Designer but I do dabble in web development and design in my free time. Would gladly take a look at some designs and lend my eyes for some critique/advice. Any way to contact you?

Asking myself the same question, it seems hard while starting out especially for B2B. A “good way” seems to be to cold call / cold e-mail businesses that would benefit from the product. This is sadly considered illegal in germany. The

I love your mindset and I am not too far off myself. For me it’s not about being able to buy luxuries but to “buy time”. Time is - in my opinion - the most valuable resource that we have. Working for the man is trading your time with money

Can you explain a bit more about the migration process? I’ve read that the “most straightfoward way” is to create a new GmbH and transfer all the IP away from the Einzelunternehmen. It seemed kinda complicated though. (As everything is when

Can you elaborate on that? My tax adviser told me I should go for a Einzelunternehmen (especially use the Kleingewerbe during the first year) because of the reduced costs (registration costs 25EUR and thats it) and not having the overhead.

No problem! I mostly use Splunk, since I have to correlate a lot of different data sources. You can also set up an ELK stack (Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana) My excel skills are not that advanced, but depending on the result yo

Thanks for the input, and the whole „liability issue“ is something that I worry about. Being a sole-proprietor here (EU) means that you are liable with every personal asset, but it’s cheaper to set up and has not as much bureaucracy overhea

I would prefer something simple too. Solving hard problems is fine, but I tend to prefer simple infrastructure vs „resume driven“ tech. Mobile apps is something that I thought about too, the ease of distribution seems like a big win, but is
