It's kinda easy to measure if you've learned something. You can test yourself if you can do what you've learned without AI.

The UI is also less stable then most cli tools. The enterprise tools I am currently working with often have outdated screenshots in their own documentation.

Thank you, but the JSON API stuff is exactly what i am using nushell for at the moment. Makes it trivial to navigate large datasets. For me it's pretty hard to work without type annotations, it just slows me down. Don't get me wro

Is there a good resource on how to get better at python prototyping? The typing system makes it somewhat slow for me and I am faster prototyping in Go then in Python, despite that I am writing more Python code. And yes I use type annotation

The LLM will only be challenging in the way you want it to be challenging. That is probably not the way that would be really challenging for you.

At the moment it is the other way around. LLMs rarely write good code if not instructed by someone that knows what they are doing. And even then the code is rarely good.

No it’s not. I was using vim / nvim interchangeable. I moved from emacs to vim in 2003 or 2004. I am really not sure when I changed vim to nvim as I always have an alias vim=nvim.

IMO for what they do they are kinda cheap. We evaluated some competitors that were worse and were asking 4x the price.

Because you probably can extrapolate your experience from learning how to ride a bike, or to walk, so you don‘t need to crash a car. Probably everyone here has the experience, that the faster things collide with you, the more it hurts.

Depends on how the rest of your CV looks like. If you just have short term jobs, sure it’s a red flag. If you have one ones in a while, everyone will understand that it just didn’t work out.
