Shame this is AWS specific and not just a Docker image

Interesting project. Direct Tanstack integration would convince me to give it a go. No users are going to swap over to your bespoke routing API

iPhone 15 Pro is a reasonable size, in my opinion. Still large compared to years past.

Can you provide more feedback? What do you hate so much about current GUIs? (Working in this exact space)

Working in this exact space with marcoapp.io We all deserve better, even self-hosted IMAP servers

Not asking for any specific strategies, but what exchanges are you using, and what is your P&L?

This is a really important question. If true, it could end a lot of Electron wastefulness.

What the hell? Make your website static and host it on a CDN. There's nothing expensive or thankless about it. Stop over engineering.

Noticed this as well. You have to go into keyboard shortcuts and set it manually.

How is a static blog being scraped a problem? Do you not use a CDN?

What features do you think it lacks? I'm not talking about AI slop. Surely it's IMAP feature complete.

Sorry, isn't Thunderbird meant to be "true FOSS" and essentially feature complete?

Not intentional! Thank you for pointing that out. I'll get a fallback in place within the next 24 hours.

Yes, Marco does this (disclaimer, I'm the solo founder): https://marcoapp.io Contacts populate alongside email threads in search results. If you click on a contact, it will take you to a dedicated contact screen with every

We may add a "bring your own API key" approach to AI features in the future, but yeah for now there are plenty of other competitors in the "automatically generate an email draft" space. I simply just set out to build the

Yes, it was audited as per Google CASA (Cloud Application Security Assessment). This is an annual requirement. The email scope is essentially the most restricted OAuth scope Google has, so the audit is pretty intense.

It's very sad indeed that email ever allowed HTML. The world would be a better place if email was only plaintext

Absolutely nothing. I have active subscriptions for both. Claude is better at FE stuff. Codex is better at actual programming.
