From my experience the more exotic frameworks are often pushed at smaller companies by developers hoping they'll be hard to replace whereas big companies use what s most popular to ensure they can find replacements easily.

It's a shame there are not very many devices working in audio range (sub 100khz). You still have to scout eBay for a device from the 80s-90s and they are still expensive as hell.

I hope they won't kill their CPLD line that has been obsoleted several times and then pushed back. It's a lifesaver for designing digital circuits if you don't want to use a ton of 74 chips.

If you are not a VC backed corporation you must be insane to run anything on a "cloud". Why not rent a dedicated server from OVH or others where you can actually control costs and pay 10-100 times less?

10k raise is not worth adding extra anxiety - unless your current job pays so little it will make a difference. Engineers are severly underpaid that's why money seem irrelevant, because these sums are too small to be.

Then a cat does "business" in whatever that triggers similar response as toilet e.g. your shoes, pots etc. It's also not fun cleaning the cat that fallen into toilet bowl (and all the splashings around).

The quality of Google results has dropped substantially in the last week (adding to already poor results). Today I literally couldn't find anything I looked for apart from getting spam and malware dens masqueraded as legitimate sites.

It still frustrates me that e.g. text editors can't get the basics like a latency between a key press and character appearing on the screen. My latest Ryzen can't compete with C64 in that regard.
