Why keep the cast iron radiators? But if you insist, I believe there are high-temp heat pumps available that will make better use of old-style radiators.

I find the polar opposite works better for me. Fight, with all your might! You have to practice taking a step back, assesing the current situation and determining what's best for you. Ideally do this every time you feel like mindlessly

Yeah, it takes some getting used to (the wheel is VERY sensitive to even the smallest finger movements), but when you get used to it, it's clearly superior to a regular scrollwheel. Much less finger fatique.

Exactly. While I personaly don't have a problem with AC condensate dripping down on the street, I can see how some people might not be used to that. Best would probably be to use the existing rainwater pipes that lead down to the sewer

In a typical mini-split, the water flows to the outside unit and exits the system there, so you either have a pump or a sufficiently sloped pipe from the inside unit to the outside unit. edit: I guess you could route the drain pipe anywhere

You can have drain pipes installed, but you can also just collect the water in a bucket and empty it periodically. That requires no extra investment of money, just a tiny bit of your willpower and manpower, depending on the size of the buck
