   If you’re looking for something similar for macOS, you can get partway to an i3 experience by using yabai and skhd. I’ve incorporated into my own environment and found it to be very useful.

   I’d love if you could elaborate on your setup. Are you using something like nvim-dap from within neovim or something else? I’m still trying to improve my debug experience in neovim.

   I’ve had my eye on the Kinesis advantage for a long time. Is there any form of virtual layering like on the ergodox? That’s been a key feature for me with the ergodox and I’d have a hard time living without it.

    If you’re trying to achieve VS Code with the keyboard navigation of vim, have you given the VSCode vim plugin a try? I’ve had positive experiences mixing editors/IDEs with a vim plugin to get the best of both for my workflow.
