you want a _recent_ videcard, not an _another_ one. most, if not all, $100 gfx cards have two outputs, and the newest AMD offerings ($300 range) have - you might want to sit down - six.

i use a file that looks like this: " session.vim tabe file1 tabe file2 tabe file3 ... when i start work, i do gvim -S session.vim and i'm all set.

i don't get what the eff windows has to do with X server crashes taking down X apps? "Windows does it too" IS NOT an acceptable solution.

exactly why i don't like Lisp: every Lisp hacker makes his own object or whatever system, making it hard for other people to understand his work.

yes, but the issue at hand is the fact that MS, the M$, released code under GPL. it's huge no matter how you look at it.

i _love_ ncat. been using nc for a while, but is shows its age. now i can ncat away over ssl. awesome.

max is useless in benchmarking; there's no upper limit on how long any computation can take.
