Before I had a desktop it was a balance of everything. Now it’s battery life for too priority. If I need more computation I’ll just ssh into my desktop.

I got Solidworks (CAD program) running on a Windows ARM VM with 64bit X86 emulation on my M1 Macbook Pro and it's still as fast as my dedicated Windows laptop. Some of that speaks to Solidworks performance in general, but I don't

Speaking from the experience of building drones, it's honestly black magic to me how they pull off their controls. I can't imagine kalman filtering yourself into such a great system as theirs. Unworldly.
