My point was “why do you assume it’s one of the two”.

I don’t get these questions asking if it’s codex or Claude – I see them often. Does it matter? There are other options out there also, it feels strange to ask this. Like asking “is your car a Toyota or a BMW?“

What is the impact of being tier 2? I’ll update Xcode, but I will definitely not install macOS 27.0

But I was asking about _logging_ training data, I don’t understand how your answer relates to my question. Maybe I’m being obtuse.

I wouldn’t say obvious, no. It’s what I observe, yes. But I have some doubt about my observations scaling up to a valid statistics. Lots of folks out there are not techies yet do care about the environment. I can’t see them caring much abou

it’s not rational, but having a glossy and mate screen on the same device would feel weird to me I think.

interesting, I didn’t notice it also hat 1TB storage and 12GB RAM. But the size is maginally smaller only. Still, I agree, would probably have been a better fit.

I am really not following. If “anyone” can write a GUI, how does moving it away from the devs reduce load? Either it’s a lot of work for devs and then even more so for “anyone” or it’s easy for everyone.

This only works short and medium term. Long term benefits have very little traction.

I think there will be a rebalancing, and it might painful first for some. Confidence in LLM for highly complex tasks, very lots of context, most of all when this context isn’t in a single place or simply isn’t digitalised, will go down. But

I kept an iPhone Mini until an App I need for work started consuming so much memory it became unusable on it (iOS would kill it after 15s). Even then, I raised ticket after ticket with support to get them to fix their app – which they did,

Does Anthropic, Grok, etc. log their training data? I had the impression it was rather a mess.

I don’t think their pitch is being the cheapest or frontier. Sovereign, data privacy, these are their strengths. Or even being not US and not Chinese; this is in itself an advantage nowadays. (Which is crazy)

Ah, interesting I always thought USA’s GDP far ahead, but it’s not. Compared to EU it’s 20 vs. 30 trillions/y. Adding Switzerland, UK, etc. and it’s close.

Do you congratulate every elected politician? Or did you just write “I’m a far right extremist”? Bit confused by your statement and looking for answers to the above questions please.

What about them being right extremists, as the Verfassungsschutz has demonstrated, looking at hundreds of pieces of evidence? The party, meaning the people composing the party, are extremists. And either they are crazy (possible, like with

Large organisation, hmmmkay, but for private persons, I disagree. Windows 11 is annoying as hell and removing the annoyances, while possible, is not easy for anyone not tech savvy.

Everyone can write it, sure. You can even maintain it. You just can’t do it for every single SaaS service in your life, it’s not sustainable for most. The sane approach is: Is there something out there with a solid community that fulfils th

It’s data privacy. You won’t save any money, google is dirt cheap when it comes to storage, because of their scale. (I’m talking storage you can use for Immich pictures) In hindsight I am baffled that I accepted for google to have all my pi
