Brief background: Locket provides advertising on your Android lockscreen. User gets a penny for every time he sees an ad on the lockscreen. My question: Why should Locket pivot due to people trying to "scam the system"? It's

Hey Paul, thanks for the feedback! Yeah, agree on the deal-maker. Maybe we can tweak the app copy to see if that improves the downloads. Also, we have a lot of reviews (250+), but since we just updated the app, the ratings don't carry

Thanks! Why though would people click on the ad which is clearly about stocks, if they don't want a stocks app? It's difficult for me to understand this.

Yes, we are. We might have to move to a proper paid service like BATS when this gets bigger. http://www.quora.com/Stocks-financial/Where-do-sites-such-as...

We're thinking of an up-sell strategy. Our team has a lot of financial experience (ex-wall street), and there are many advanced products such as portfolio analytics, diversification metrics and risk ratios etc. that we could sell. A ba

Thank you! That's a really good point. We'll be adding a Commodities watchlist in the near future! Are there any particular tickers that you use? With oil, there's spot and futures. The ones on yahoo are mostly futures dated

Not necessarily, there are cheap $1 brokers like Interactive Brokers. I've used them, they get the job done. http://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/?f=commission

How about http://99designs.com/ ? You could choose the one you like best, and approach the designer for additional work.

Update: We just got a call from Apple developer relations explaining that all apps which makes use of animation on the lockscreen are not allowed. Well, at least a definite no saves us development time in trying to iterate further on this.

We've tried this too. But beyond the standard "We'll contact you shortly", nothing has happened after weeks (3-4 weeks).

Thank you for your comments and suggestion. I'm aware that Apple doesn't like this too, and am only asking for help because of 6 rejections in 2.5 months. It's hard when all you get is a cryptic message that hasn't changed in 3 rejections r
