The No Borders belief is very idealistic. How does that work with state benefits like universal healthcare? And taxes? Yes it would be nice to be able to pick up and live/work anywhere but it's not as simple as one might think.

This is in one of the most expensive areas in the US. I wouldn't call this third world status. In most areas you can easily find a 1BR apartment for that much.
