I have recently migrated my projects to fossil ( https://fossil-scm.org ), hosting them myself on a cheap vps. I also really got hooked on their code/project management philosophy, rethinking a lot on how I want to run collab

Might be something about empathy. If you got into a car accident and were lying on the street with a removed limb, would you like random strangers taking photos of you?

And that is the great thing about it. It is just another car, but runs on electricity. I really do not dig the futurism other car companies are trying to sell with their EVs. Why does everything need to look like some weird futuristic fanta

Doing pretty well with Logitechs MX Ergo which also looks more polished than this open source alternative. I am fine with paying for closed source products if they are good and can be used without a hassle.

Elon Musk and Steve Jobs are and were highly intelligent people. For them it is less about bullshitting but more about their dreams and goals. I do not believe Elon Musk is bullshitting when giving timeframes, he knows what is possible tech

Depending on how well you do the treeshaking, all dependencies that are not in use will be removed from the bundle. I do not know how agressive the angular CLI settings for webpack are, but with our own config we are removing any noise real

Self driving will work well when everyone uses a self driving car. The reason why ant colonies do not have any traffic issues is that they work together. Now imagine if all cars on the street would communicate with each other, knowing where

I think it is not as binary as this. I too have friends that I do not see often, but what makes them friends to me is that no matter for how long we do not meet, as soon as we meet our relationship is the same as the last time we met. Frien

Also helps a lot in large communities. There will always be people that are nice and you like to have around, but are a bit "louder" during gaming sessions. We were really successful by teaching them to not hit the PTT-button when

Looking into the issues: "Add multiplayer support" The only reason I see running a minecraft server is to play multiplayer, so I guess there still is a lot of work to do.

I still agree and think that you are somewhat correct. Nevertheless: the pros are training 5v5 exclusively. 1v1 is a just for fun gamemode, the money is earned in the 5v5 tournaments. I am not saying the bot should be able to play 5v5, I am

That is correct, what I was trying to say is, that the playstyle of the professional players is not used to those rules. It takes them out of their comfort zone and they have to adapt. I would love to see the bot matched up with a high mmr

As a developer I surely am amazed of the capabilities of the bot, but as a Dota player I am a bit more skeptic. The bot only wins in a certain scenario, Shadow Fiend vs Shadow Fiend, no bottle, no runes, no jungle creeps and so on. This cut

Random structure generation really is a big thing to do. There are way too many parameters and possible things to happen so all it comes down to is the imagination of the developer. I have tried generating a simple city, which took quite a
