If you want a fun and easy way to contribute to OSM I recommend StreetComplete. You get a bunch of game-like quest icons for things like "what is the surface of this path?", and "does this road have a cycle path?", then

That makes sense to me. If I was about to write a doom metal record I'd probably avoid listening to doom metal for a while. The difference here, as you point out, is that Bobby already had a lifetime of listening to music and appreciat

Imagine instead the post was about people who want to make music but don't listen to it. I literally cannot imagine being a musician who doesn't listen to music.

They make well-engineered keyboards, have excellent customer service and made a very usable web front-end to QMK for configuration.

One thing that might help is setting the backlight colours to mark out different groups of keys.

If you make it 0.887cm you get a nice round one-earth-mass :D

According to this calculator [1] it would take 11.274 times the mass of the earth to create a black hole with a radius of 10cm. [1] https://www.omnicalculator.com/physics/schwarzschild-radius

Consider phrasal verbs like "shut up", "get lost" or "kick off". Knowing what the parts mean doesn't let you understand the whole. In your native tongue you take these for granted, but in a second language

I think this is exactly it. I started getting RSI, spent a little time researching, bought a zsa moonlander and it cured me. I haven't turned it into a hobby, it's just a tool that solves a problem.

I've been using Firefox on android for over a decade, including for YouTube, and maybe once a year I encounter a problem where I need to use Chrome for a specific website.

It was specifically Benn Jordan and Venus Theory who cut their ties. Polarity has never stopped making Bitwig content and I've learned an absolute ton of stuff from him. https://youtube.com/polaritydnb/

It's really nice to play a scale, come to the octave, slide, and keep on playing the same shape across the higher strings. It's made the fretboard feel a lot more transparent to me.

On guitar in fourths tuning, you only need to learn each interval and chord shape once, compared to multiple permutations in standard tuning. Not sure how much difference this makes over the long run as another poster pointed out, but for m

I haven't played a linear isomorphic keyboard, but I do play guitar with an isomorphic tuning (EADGCF) and I have an Intuitive Instruments Exquis, which is a hex-grid. I feel like melody makes more sense linearly but harmony makes more

I use all-fourths tuning on guitar (EADGCF) which makes the fretboard isometric. You lose some idiomatic guitar vocabulary, but if you don't care about that you gain the ability to construct your own chord voicings much more easily, an
