Yeah I'm not so sure though. I'm 1900 rated tactics on lichess but a middling 1300 on normal games. Perhaps it might be due to playing blitz where I don't have lots of time to think.

It's similar to a lot of the people voting yes on 23: they want to stick it to the dialysis companies. I get that, but how is the prime consideration here not patient care? Drives me crazy how people will gleefully ignore the potential

I almost gave up on this series halfway through book one, but I'm so glad I stuck with it. The characters were fantastic, the world was wonderfully built, and there was just.. so much of it. Took me quite a while to get through all 10

That was almost certainly a rewards card that tracks peoples playing for comps. Every slot machine I've ever seen still requires you to insert either cash or a ticket cashed out from another machine.

This is sort of my dream, but every time I've checked prices they have been astronomical, upwards of, say, $800 to go from Emeryville to Florida (just a regular coach seat).

The studio's response (on the linked Kotaku article) is incredibly classy and well written. Completely unoffensive while strictly discouraging this kind of behavior. Kudos.
