Except that if oil is priced in dollars and you have a dollar printing factory then oil is effectively free to you. If my ISP accepted pictures of my cat rather than insisting on pictures of president Jackson it would make a big difference

Even easier to get around. Truecrypt uses your passphrase to decrypt the key which is then used to decrypt the disk. With a ID tag it would just match the tag generated number with it's own algorithm and then decrypt the disk . All the evil
