The generally accepted term for the research around this in robotics is Constitutional AI ( https://arxiv.org/abs/2212.08073 ) and has been cited/experimented with in several robotics VLAs.

In my experience using LLMs like CoPilot: Web server work in Go, Python, and front end work in JavaScript - it's pretty good. Only when I try to do something truly application specific that it starts to get tripped up. Multi threading
