   I feel like these are a little too rigid when starting out, just make sure you version your API and try to keep it backwards compatible, it will evolve anyway

   I feel like these microbenchmarks aren't representative of real life programming, I guess they're alright as an exercise for optimizing, but probably 99% of what you'll find are the "Initial" versions
