I agree with all of your points, and indeed Github authentication is optional for the jobs posted on the site. I admit I did initially have it turned on by default (because I really liked the feature) but now it's off by default given

That's true, I'm not even sure if there are many such remote systems programmings jobs out there waiting to be advertised. In any case I'm open to adding that in as a category if the demand for it goes up.
