I use discord only for gaming but the entire app was full of text strings that made me cringe. I'm glad they have got rid of them.

If you tamper with the device it's your responsibility, innit? It's not like they disabled a properly functioning device that uses the original firmware with an OTA update.

I expect the developers who write the kernel mode drivers to be much more competent and senior than those who write the flashy, slow GUIs that come with them. Yes, naive assumption, but still!
