No. I created an app in one of these (a year ago). I have 5 serious competitors. Each are decent apps that have been in the game longer than mine - mine is not necessarily better, just with a slightly different angle. It has about $3.5k MRR

The difference is in Facebook amplifying the content's reach just because it is controversial and generates interactions. Most serious media outlets care about the truth of the content they share. Facebook simply does not.

In Denmark we also only have two weeks paternity leave. But then between 7-12 months to split between mother and father. However, the most common (in my experience) is that the mother uses the full leave.

Your points are fine, but I do not see how they apply to the blog post. Overall, the blog post says, unit tests take a long time to write compared to the value they bring - instead (or also) focus on more valuable automated integration test

The "simple group projects" we made during my 5-year degree were the result of 3-5 people putting in ~200 hours each (over 4 months). They were of higher quality, better designed, tested and documented than most I have encountered
