Also I’d separate HEV and PHEV. I agree a HEV is kinda of meh but PHEVs are, at least for me and getting around the city, the best of both worlds.

Love the logos, colors, and at the same time simplicity. These are so much more memorable than what you see today which I find to be bland or over the top “grafix”.

I thought Sol was on par with Opus, so comparing it to Fable is apples and (very expensive) oranges?

I think your interviewing experience is valid because tech interviews have been designed to filter out people without DS&A experience which a CS degree will give you a big advantage at. Day to day job performance (for the most part, in

I messed up a recent DIY construction project because I didn’t read it all the way to the end first. My chef wife comes in with “you always read the recipe to the end before starting”…

Maybe it’s because my wife is literally a chef but you’ll have to pull her gas range/oven out of her dead hands. She’s worked with induction before for years, it is not the same league. For instance, you can’t tilt the pan.

Maybe but it feels like 1 step forward and 2 steps back. It feels like in the end they’re (companies) still getting 99% of what they had before and the user experience of everything is much worse.

Looks and feels like an Android app from 10 years ago and all this hides whatever setup and management went into getting this going. Plex Just Works, and is very easy on the eyes.
