On the noisy NodeJS auto-instrumentation, it is indeed very noisy out of the box. Myself along with a bunch of other ppl finally got the project to allow you to select the instrumentations via configuration. Saves having to create your own

A while ago I wrote jlq, a utility explicitly querying/filtering jsonl/json log files. It’s powered by SQLite. Nice advantage is it can persist results to a sqlite database for later inspection or to pass around. Hope it helps som

This is great! I built a native. macOS client that I actually sold in the AppStore a while ago. It did everything was native except rendering of the article but I was just using plain web view for that part. The pain was keeping but synced

I also made native macOS HN client app called MackerNews. It renders the article in a web view (readable if possible) but everything else is native. Btw its a client, you can login, vote, comment, etc :) http://mackernews.com

There actually isn't any webkit here at all, except for the slack api oauth login. Everything is native. Trust me, I'm not faking this :)
