A few days ago I was made aware of Street Complete here on HN. Same thing there - it makes it incredibly easy to submit additional data, such as opening hours and road types, to OSM. https://f-droid.org/packages/de.west

I run Strava on my Pixel 10 Pro Fold running GrapheneOS. IIRC you need to have Google Play Store installed (with zero permissions, preferably) to make Strava work.

What's your monthly usage, aprox.? Do you use Kagi for getting to pages you know of but doesn't want to type the whole URL for, eg. typing "Hacker news" in the URL bar instead of "news.ycombinator.com"?

I try to selfhost most of my stuff I rely on. Immich, Vaultwarden, etc. I gave up on trying to selfhost sync solutions for Obsidian - Obsidian Sync is just so damn frictionless compared to all other solutions. Also, it feels good supporting

It works just fine, but every time you open the app you have to dismiss a dialog saying that the app doesn't work without Google Play Services installed.

That’s exactly how I do it. I enjoy reading DRM-free epubs on my Kobo, and whenever I finished a book I enjoyed, I buy it from the local sci-fi bookshop. I buy about 90% of all books I read.

As a Wayland user with an oled screen I very much appreciate the coming wayland support. I haven’t found any good lock screen solution that doesn’t risk burn-in for wayland yet.

You literally just change an URL in a config file. The config file is available by just connecting your Kobo by USB to your computer. Super simple and quite surprising.

A big plus imo is that you can check in and version control the files alongside your application. Very convenient when working on micro services in a team.
