We need to stop blaming the pandemic for things that were caused by lockdowns. Young healthy people were forced to put their lives on hold for 2 years so that some 86 year olds would make it to 87.

I've noticed a pattern in comedians who have a funny set but never make it big. They have a shtick that works, lean into it, then end up using it as a crutch. It doesn't scale to a funny second performance.

In Calgary I've used a parking machine that asked for a lot number. That is on a sign as you enter the parking lot. As if this machine could not be programmed to already know which lot of was permanently installed in.

Science is always up for discussion. A lot of people like making appeals to authority and calling that "science". I say this as someone who is vaccinated and encourages others to be so as well.
