This is for sure an interesting link- I'm not sure why it's getting front paged on Hacker News though. Anyone care to elaborate? Again, I'm not discussing the quality of the link, just its relevance on HN.

Gates wrote, by himself, the best BAISC interpreter in the industry in a matter of months. At a time where there was no internet to check out the latest papers, StackOverflow to help you out, etc. Way more impressive than sticking together
