Indeed, it performed worse than Qwen3.6-27b in my basic test. It gave a fancier looking answer, but did a worse job following the prompt.

Note that these are Python-only results, the model will not do as well with other languages. I'm glad to see more domain-focused SLMs, we need more of them! A programming focused MoE should work well across many languages.

I'm kinda glad that it's VW blocking GrapheneOS users in a cynical way. When my parents got a VW Jetta they never stopped complaining about it and never bought one again. So it tracks that they'd also be the car manufacturer

They are not just asking for more money, from TFA they are imposting additional requirements like better Japanese fluency etc. In general they are raising the bar for who is allowed to live there, and all of that protects Japan.
