I dont think people fully realise how novel Stripe actually is. The idea of capturing payments via an API itself isn't unique, but the fact that as a company Stripe is actually on average pretty competent. I've never had an issue

My understanding of the B-1 visa is all you really need is a letter of employment. Might get tricky with you providing the letter of employment to yourself however.
