Nice! Cool idea for you: Have one of the widgets as a photo album. Upload some images, or maybe connect to a Google Drive folder. Then every day it shows a family photo! :)

XMPP is great. You can own your whole stack with no commercial restrictions. If you're coming from Slack, this plugin is a game changer: https://modules.prosody.im/mod_slack_webhooks sudo prosodyctl install --server= h

This website is not very user friendly. Huge amount of assets to load, an unclear product, and a visually distracting experience.

I don't want this. It's too complicated. Plus it's vendor lock in. Give it time. Soon you'll only be able to push using Github's CLI.

Neat, but this game seems too simple. I think AI has missed a core gameplay mechanic. There needs to be something to stop a deadlock. Like an element of luck for the hares?

Neat as a pet project, but anyone thinking of using this is production is insane. Rewriten in Rust is becoming a meme now.

Too little too late. Xbox is dying and PS won. Try listening to your customers next time. We don't want to be ripped off with paying for assets we don't own. We don't want another monthly subscription. We want the old games,

The cofounders will not put your priorities first. Their only goal is to make money for themselves. They will axe you if they feel like it. They are not hiring a founding engineer because they want to do something nice. They've probabl

Two things jump to mind: 1. The best product rarely wins. As much as it pains me, marketing and sales matter more than product. Your competitors are likely better at marketing and selling themselves and their product. 2. It's a bit cli

The reality is that SaaS is hard to sell these days. It's not 2010 any more, the gold rush is over. That's not to say it's impossible, but it's so much harder than 15 years ago. Everyone and their dog is starting a SaaS.

I don't subscribe to God. Humans have been inventing gods since the beginning of time as a way to control/exploit the masses or soothe the over active mind. There are thousands of dead religions, but this round of current popular

Remember that thing Microsoft does? Embrace, extend, extinguish. The first two have been done. I give it five years before the GH CLI is the only way to interact with GitHub repos. Then the third will also be done, and the cycle is complete
