It is web client and web server. I guess he meant that the main purpose of the server is to serve API requests. not web pages

The problem is that knowledge needed for exams is needed for exams only, and does not correlate with your overall expertise.

Communicate status with stakeholders is PMs responsibility. And, I guess, in 95% of cases, PM can do this without talking to dev. By just looking in jira for example... But they just can't. They continue asking if dev is still on time.
