   I can't speak to using "Latinx" or land acknowledgements, but myself and other non-cishet people I know appreciate the normalization of adding pronouns to names/bios by all kinds of people because it helps us feel a lot

    This exactly. I highly recommend the podcast Maintenance Phase to anyone interested in learning more. They cover a lot of that nuance and the science behind them. Leave your biases at the door and it's eye opening.

    Graphene was a little too restrictive for my liking, personally. It also felt dated. Calyx has been a sweet spot between privacy and features.

    USB HDD firmware isn't very good, and certainly isn't built for a NAS set up. Data loss is a lot more probable.
