It's a very good store of value/gold analog and a not so great currency. That's fine though - if you have something that holds value you can move it into whatever currency exists when you need to do that.

I still use it, I just started traveling way more so lounge access was nice. Then once I had the travel cards I started using them to see if I could optimize their perks.

The Apple Card is a great credit card for people that aren't optimizing points for travel (most regular people). The software is solid and Apple prevents them from reselling your data to third parties. The cash back is super easy to us

My counter argument would be that a lot of the world’s best people move to hubs anyway to intentionally be around other great people. So being located in the Bay Area gets you the world’s best people without the negative tradeoffs of remote

I'd bet most people look at the tactile buttons when adjusting them, to see the temperature, fanspeed, etc. and that the difference between this and swiping on the tesla display isn't an important difference.

It really is imo. Good touchscreen UI is superior in many ways (though not all) to fixed control buttons. It’s why it dominates phones and why it’s winning in the market for cars as well (Model Y was top selling car on earth for Q1 2023). B
