That's close to a 90x monthly revenue multiple. You're assuming that you will keep making that amount every month but how are you getting your traffic? If it's from search engines, a Panda update or competitors showing up could reverse that

Sounds more like a poorly implemented game mechanic more than cleverness on the players part. They basically let their users set the price then distribute rewards based on that.

Wordpress is really only good if your building a simple blog or info site. It would be very difficult to add in the amount of customization you would need to create a HN clone in Wordpress. I would advise you look into something like Django
