I have had a couple of friends get rejected because HR pulled some engineer that was having a particular bad day (which is completely understandable) i wonder how many good programmers have been filtered because of these interview processes

I don't know if netflix has enough content for curator aglorithms, at first it was recommending me some good older movies which was great but if netflix ever moves on to only originals and then only starts recommending those i will def

What i want the most is being able to put these companies to test, i have 0 problems with whiteboard problems but like evaluating them, are they all compotent or is it the company a one trick pony with only a few decent engineers.

Apple needs a better onboarding for new developers and definitely needs to improve XCode to be on part with it's high shipping standards, it also didn't help that a lot of the time the iTunesConnect platform was failing. I can say

I feel you, every time i have to work with anything apple it's painful. Even their dev tools, i wasn't expecting much from XCode and i was still let down. In this regard Microsoft is way superior.
