I’m all in on Chinese models, Deepseek especially given how cheap it is. It’s also really solid and comparable in real world use to a sonnet for my work.

I basically live in rio all day long. It’s fast. Looks great. Only annoyance is I have to do TERM=xterm-256color ssh … cuz they don’t know what Rio is But otherwise it’s awesome Ghostty I like too. Fast hackable easy to configure I just use

good. competition is good. we, the consumers, win. the a20pro and what not will match or beat it and the cycle will continue. if this chip turns into a decent desktop chip then arm linux laptops might be very nice.

I’ve not tried it but I’m willing to bet if you gave Claude or ChatGPT similar pseudo code you’d get the same result.
