(I haven't attempted to use opentelemetry-instrumentation-django in at least a year so my information might be dated and my memory is patchy :P) If I recall the primary issue was the forced loading of the django settings file by otel.

I've found their django instrumentation to be kinda useless for larger apps. The only choices you get is full auto instrumentation, which breaks most non-trivial apps, or zero assistance/documentation. There is no in-between where

Been using/abusing wezterm for years, my scrollback is set to 1000000 and text selection has never been a problem... copy mode however does make it even easier

I might be missing something here, but isn't David Ulevitch affiliated with OpenDNS which should be more than capable of running everydns? Its maybe not their primary function, but its pretty close.

Being a python programmer I am a bit worried that one (In this case) needs to use java to overcome a scaling problem. From my experiences with twisted, which is on much smaller scale than the article, I have never found twisted to be anykin
