My opinion, anything driven by an algorithm is inherently bad. It’s hard giving up those sites, not because that’s where the people are but because we are all addicted to them. If you switch to mastodon or pixelfed, you’ll find good stuff

For the in-crowd the law protects but does not bind. For the out-crowd, the law binds but does not protect. Can’t remember where I read that but it has stuck with me.

I totally hear you on that, but for my one off apps (and even some of my not one off apps) if I can't implement a feature in a PWA, I just learn to live without that feature.

Yeah. That was it. I remembered it wrong (you use chatGPT which I admit, has better voice interaction). I use claude code and type it all. Most of the time for walks/runs I just let my thoughts go whenever. But that's just me.

I've used JWTs for a number of server to server interactions and they are amazing for what they are. I've also told many a front end team member to NOT use them.
