It's so bizarre having a low score be GOOD. It's like reverse intuition. Shouldn't it be called `score error` or something along those lines?

Holy crap that re-circulation feature is luxurious! I'd love to have something like that! Whenever I take a hot shower I fantasize about putting in a liquid-to-liquid heat exchanger so the hot water can heat up the cold water and you c

Nice! I like learning about databases but got a bit of "framework fatigue" when I started reading about all the number of dbs available today (and deciphering marketing from tech notes). This article hooked me with the comparison

What did you need to write with golang? I found the exact opposite effect when I tested elixir and then went to go. Exlixir has a great std lib but fewer packages than I'd like in the community. I can't even recall what I wanted!

I bet they had to change identity verification providers so that's why you have to re-validate again. It's a shame there's no alternative to Meli. I'm shopping around for a macbook and I would much rather have a marketpl

I have moved out of the U.S. into South America and one of the nice side-effects of this is that apps from local companies are well optimized here. It's not that there's an extreme level of competency or an optimizing culture. It&

I'm not an expert by any means whatsoever but deploying models is not a straightforward task. There's a lot of levers to pull and I bet when models get "downgraded" to older hardware they do so WITHOUT the same stringent

I was going to ask if there's any plans to integrate something like the fx's ACP server[1] or pi's RPC mode [2]. I'm making something like Paseo and hax is very interesting as a Pi replacement. [1] https://fx.

Ah that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for taking the time to implement. I like the design of the system.

Hello! Very nice article. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind. When doing the last streaming of the wal from the primary the article mentions that the nodes will catch up to replication time `T`. How do the nodes coordinate

A talk by Alexis King, the author of [Parse, Don't Validate]( https://lexi-lambda.github.io/blog/2019/11/05/parse-don-t-va... ). A refreshingly pragmatic take on the bounds of usefulness on type syste

This is very interesting! The sandboxing and quick startup make this an interesting foundation for a FaaS system. Lots of frontend devs (and vibe coders) just want a "deploy my code" service.

I agree! It seems the author is already making thoughtful decisions on what to implement and what to drop. You kinda have to when it's a project of this scope. Implementing, running, maintaining, scaling a module registry is probably n
