There is an essay[1] from last month, which argues for assigning agency to biological systems and not just for illustration for the general public but for research. For me, a layman, it had some convincing arguments, at least in abstract. [

In chrome, you can make a shortcut for a profile by providing a flag --profile-directory="YourProfileName" It will be created if it doesn't exist and you can even set it to point to a TEMP folder for throwaways.
