I do think it's worth adding, though, that from what I've heard (and given my own experiences), the culture in Oxford/Cambridge is not at all representative of University culture generally in British Universities.

When a state enforces a law like this, forcing all traffic through routers they control, presumably it makes it easier to detect traffic using VPNs/Tor? I'm guessing this would have to be done through some kind of heuristics based

Was that the final resolution then; that Boeing were ordered to replace the part, and the crashes stopped happening? Was there ever a formal investigation into whether Boeing knew the true cause of the rudder hardover, and chose to ignore
