In my experience? No. 3.7 is faster and it just seems to get things right more often. Only big architecture tasks and analysis make sense with 3.1, perhaps, but honestly just use the Opus 4.6 to generate a plan and then switch back to flash

At least in high school I was the opposite. If I had a class with a teacher strict about notes I didn't absorb the material as well because I was more focused on getting the notes correct than engaging with the material
