Think about where you want to be 3-5 years from now. From an IRR and ROI perspective, not all colleges are equal and often trade schools yield higher relative returns. You definitely have a lot of capital and can invest in future endeavors.

If you need simple scraping, I like traditional http request lib. For more robust scraping (ie clicking buttons / filling text), use capybara and either phantomjs or chromedriver - easy to install using homebrew!
