It's super common with non-profits. Obviously they would prefer no strings attached but some light strings are usually not a problem for most non-profits.

Yeah I think I would have been considered part of the “in” crowd of Perl to some degree and it wasn’t the culture that drove me away and to Python. It was Django and the people involved with it.

That would have been hard since both of those projects came out after Django, but just an FYI Jinja2 templates are supported and nothing stops you from using SQLAlchemy. Granted you lose a lot of the tight intergration that makes Django gre

It takes 5 minutes to switch most projects. And less to go back to pip. Seems silly to waste a bunch of wall time when using pip when there is a super easy alternative that doesn't have high switching costs.

If you’re really looking for a tool to collect small steps/script I highly recommend you check out the ‘just’ cli tool. It’s completely replaced our use of Make and the syntax is much easier.

I think one area people miss out on is local meetups in a tech area you know and want to work with. Networking with those people you’ll discover which companies are good/bad/etc and then also know someone there.

Yep 33k here and I’ve had to replace all 4 but it’s been for hitting bad pot holes at speed, nails, etc. 7k is way too low, I would believe 25-30k for speedy drivers.
