I've heard that joke from Linux users when it comes to anti-cheat. Which OS is better for gaming? Windows or Linux? A: Linux, because you can't play League of Legends

Did you read the documentation I linked? There's also high/medium/low settings that use XDG signals to determine if focus should change.

What? You can set it to let apps steal the focus you want. I can set it to not allow any apps to steal focus. How are we not both satisfied?

> How would that global app ban help? You do want the application to steal focus when necessary Maybe you do. I don't. With this setting we can both be hapopy.

Maybe it's a hazy memory, but from 2007-2011 my main computer was a MacBook Pro. I swear in that era, when an app wanted attention it would bounce in the dock endlessly. That was annoying, but it let you finish doing what you were doin

You think that hanging out playing video games with friends lacks an appeal for young people? Are you for real?

I've thought this for a while, and I summarise it as: If you want me to take time to read it, you should take the time to write it.

It isn't a meaningless word, and like my sibling poster I do wonder if that sentence is astroturfed by the junk food corpos. The [NOVA classification]( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nova_classification ) has definit

Yeah there's some weirdness too, it's heavily optimised for the Deck, low rez textures, low shadow quality etc. So if you force it to run on your Linux desktop you don't get an experience commensurate with your hardware.

And now I'm older with a well paying job I find myself having to do the opposite calculation. Things like, "Actually I will get an uber instead of the bus, so I can spend more time at the party."

Wow, calflegal. That's not just good insight, it's smart thinking. I think you're correct — there's a lot of LLM generated content here!

Whilst I appreciate you can do this, and some people have programs they need Windows for, I am sick of fighting my OS. One thing I realised when I switched to desktop Linux was just how quiet it was. It just sits there until I want to do

I'm absolutely loving KDE since I returned to desktop Linux after a long absence. What really shocks me is how few of the big distros make KDE a default or "first class" DE choice. If I was a novice user coming from Windows,
