I hate API keys. Get a horrible feeling when I see one. When will this have to expire and how do I remember to recycle it. And if it doesn't expire that is an issue too.

Because they can design a protocol in the blink of an eye? They can read docs, play with an API and then figure out how to call it?

Am very curious what the cause might be! Doing analysis on if certain ages are more likely to have the effect and/or certain causes of death could give clues. The article is very good and explains p values well.

Stories sure ... and I need to know how to do each of those things! Where "I" is a million people with different knowledge and backgrounds and health conditions and ages converging to the book.

Extreme! but a calendar with one of these a day plus a paragraph to explain would be pretty good.

I think if PhDs are bad at code it is because they ain't coding in a team 7.6 hours a day. It is not the PhDness rather than not being a coder. (Sone PhDs might code a lot as a hobby and be good). You can also write a medical PhD witho

Mind blown. I remember getting very excited that my teacher in 1991 sent an email. I didn't see the email or use that computer. Just the concept that the email was sent to another country. Weird I barely remember what the email was abo

Yeah AI at least now is so energy inefficient. There is only so much sun hitting earth we can be stupid with. Using AI for everything makes electron apps seem efficient! Once the hype runs out and you pay full price much AI today will be un

Turtles all the way down: why bother with a GPU when you can get AI to guess the attention operation. Just tell the AI what the AI should do and it can use AI to compute the AI!

I think from reading that, docs like code is roughly something like using Github and CI to manage docs rather than say WordPress or Confluence?

Instead it disobeys commands, uses up your resources then you find it never belonged to you in the first place.

Very nice! Like a Databricks for Google, or perhaps think of it as Google backend as a service (at least their AI like backend not the main search) It disrupts anyone who merely does one thing this does. E.g. contact building app can be don

It's vibefrastructure. Vibe coders don't do prod-ready but they can lean on services like this. See also: vercel, firebase etc.

The interesting question is what are your respective end games and do they compete? By this I mean like Facebook was seemingly a face book for college campuses at first.
