The nice thing about WebRTC is that is p2p. All media info goes direct between users, no middle-man server. There is some basic information to connect the peers. But we do not store any user info on ba.net. https://ba.net/sc

We usually do not have a choice of ISP. A VPN gives you the option of where to "attach" to the internet. As an added bonus at that point you can filter ads, malware, tracking.
