This. Maybe you can disconnect more if you are single. Or with a SO, but not children. Once you have a family, there's just a lot more demands on you. The safer, more secure route ends up being the more traditional corporate job.

I think we need to remember that the game really was only in dev from mid-2016 to now. Pre-production since announcement but main development was really started in mid 2016 when CDPR finished all of the Witcher DLCs.

I don't answer either. And I get voicemails with robocalls about Cigna health plans A LOT. Not sure why. I also get warranty spam calls that leave voice mails too.

I agree. I would say schedule a skip-level meeting with his manager and express your concerns. Ask him to be open and honest. If his manager does not recognize or is not willing to make the change, then either leave the team or the company.
