If my mum starting using The Cloud in sentences she would mean "The Internet", she doesn't have the concept of a server, and doesn't really need to, she just knows it's "Out there somewhere". I think it would be unlikely for one of my peers

I installed the osx version of flux ages ago and never looked back, stunningly unintrusive. Although waking up in the morning to find your beautiful late design is bright cyan is a bit of a shocker sometimes.

no SSL for our own domains is the one killer for me at the moment.... be nice to know a bit more about the timescales of the items on the roadmap, maybe which releases things are being aimed for just to get more of an idea of priorities.

If you've got Growl installed (and if you've had your mac longer than a day - you probably do), then you can use growlnotify to dump messages on your screen. I use it in long running scripts (like deploys). growlnotify -t "Deploy" -m

Yeah, as soon as I saw this post I thought of SPF and DomainKeys. Seems simple: If your mail/DNS is setup to support either of these, then cool you don't need to confirm. Else, you must "ok" each post. DONE

looks interesting, I'm not sure the signup/intro page quite put across _why_ I should use the service enough, I only 'got it' a bit later. But as a set hosting service I would probably use it anyway. few thoughts (some already covered):

Fine, it's bias.... but I like the attitude and love the fact that a primary competing factor between vendors is how compatible with the HTML5 umbrella they are! It's win all round.

some kind of open EULA for various common SaaS models would be a great resource. If there isn't one maybe those of us who are having to pay to have one written, could instead pay for an open one to be commissioned?
