You shouldn’t expect EVERY stock to have positive returns. Unless the bad stocks to which you're referring become a considerable part of the market, you should still expect stocks, on average, to earn you real interest.

It is not clear at all from the article that they never had a business model. Most likely they had to scratch their original plan at one point.

Congrats on the launch! I can totally see the need for this. What (if anything) would you say has changed in the recent years to make this technologically feasible for the first time? Have you looked into how the latest advances in NLP eg.

Reminded me of the top comment on the "Show HN" of Dropbox, back in 2007: "you can already build such a system yourself quite trivially by getting an FTP account, mounting it locally with curlftpfs, and then using SVN or CVS
